I’ve read the Finishing School series, so this universe and some of these characters are very familiar to me. Just finished rereading this and liked it a lot more this time around. It reads so much better as an audiobook. This book was just a lot of fun to read, overall. Carriger creates a fascinating world and blends all her threads together seamlessly. It's got a little something for everyone: vampires, werewolves, preternaturals, steampunk, intrigue, danger, and romance. ...more
