I love Elin Hildebrand’s books on audio. They are the perfect antidote to my tedious commutes around town. They have great stories, with a straightforward plot line and interesting characters, the readers are always wonderful. This was another hit.
People love to talk - even on the bucolic Nantucket Island. Grace and Madeline are the best of friends and the envy of many others. Grace, is wealthy and has a garden worthy of ALL OF HER TIME. Literally. It is so fabulous it is a full-time job with a full-time gardener. Oh yes, and the gardener is a dream boat who she starts sleeping with. Madeline is a writer with writers block. Madeline is a likable character - in fact, i wonder what on earth she see in her best friend Grace. She is spoiled,

I hated the last book of Hilderbrand's that I read, The Island. This one had some of the same flaws but I didn't hate the people as much.
