Rich white woman disappears. While a detective with an awful lot of time to spend on a single case sets out to find her, rich, beautiful white woman gets busy falling in love with her beastly (but with a heart of gold) kidnapper.
I don’t write many negative reviews, but I HATED this book. Shallow characters and an utterly predictable, clichéd plot. Plus, there are some disturbingly racist descriptions of scary black people and extremely unsubtle anti-abortion propaganda.

This was a fast paced suspense novel, with straight forward prose that belied the twists and turns of the plot. A perfect read for my plane trip.
This was an interesting story, with an interesting twist, told in an interesting way. And yet at the end I just felt angry. So much potential with this one but too many holes and too many things unexplained.
