I'm having a hard time getting through this one. I've read and loved the previous two books but this one deviates from the mold in many ways that I didn't enjoy. This novel is more political in its plot and the espionage story line was not easy to get through.There are many characters to keep straight, all with complicated Swedish names, and complicated by frequent point of view changes.

Upon finishing this book, I was reminded anew at how sad I am that Stieg Larsson is dead. I don't know what will happen with the fourth book (was it ever completed?) but I sure hope it gets published.

As for this one, once again Larsson wrote a compelling, though complex and sometimes confusing novel about the Swedish government and about Lisbeth Salander. I made myself finish this one, just to get closure. Disappointing ending to an otherwise wonderful trilogy.
