Definitely entertaining, although the name dropping got a little tiresome near the end. A fluffy, easy, quick read... this was definitely the sort of book that's perfect for a beach read or a vacation, but not the sort of thing I'd want to tuck into for any real meaning. The ending is predictable, and the whole thing is written in the sort of cinematic fashion that makes you wonder if the writer set out to make it a movie from the get-go. Good Summer fluff book for poolside reading!
I absolutely hated it mid way through. I thought that there wasn't one person mentioned who was "worth knowing". I had to ask myself who really cares about all of this stuff, who thinks that waiting years for a chance to buy an overpriced handbag for instance is important enough to write a book about. Then I think that this is exactly what she is saying. It turned out to be a good book afterall and satisfied my need for the occasional chick lit read.

This was awful, so very awful but of course I read the whole thing...i must be a glutton for punishment.
chick lit and not as tongue-in-cheek as devil, but still a good commute/beach/plane read :)
