Have just finished Dandelion Wine, and loved loved loved this. Even though it is set in summer 1928, there is much about it that still resonates with a childhood summer today. At least, many of my childhood memories are relatable. It’s told in a series of vignettes (40 chapters — some short, some longer) chronicling a summer in a small town in Illinois.
