I found the beginning of this slow going -- it takes a while to come together, but then it really takes off. The second half was great. This is kinda like Game of Thrones with mastermind thieves. I enjoyed the characters and the first half of the plot as they fooled everyone. But that middle bit when the violence started knocked this book down in enjoyment. The writing was really goid and there were a lot of twists and turns, but not so much happiness.
