I need to give up on Nicholas Sparks. He is just not the author for me. His books are just so.... blah. Yet each year I keep trying another book. This book was especially bad because I hated Gabby. She was such a freaking bitch and I have zero idea what Travis saw in her. It boggled my mind. She was so mean to him in the beginning all because he was attractive. She was literally punishing him because he was an attractive guy and she was attracted to him. As if that was all his fault. How dare he ...more

I loved this book!! I would give it 10 stars if I could. I have read a lot of Sparks' books, and this was by far my favorite. He keeps you guessing up until the last few pages!! It was great! A story about tough decisions and what happens when you make the right choice! ...more

I didn't like this book for the first 2/3's of it. Then I turned a page and started bawling. Nicholas Sparks intentionally writes sappy tear-jerker's and I think that is stupid. Why do that to people?
