What Members Thought
I'd never read this before and felt like I should given that I do so much work with literacy and literature. I'd read other Mark Twain before, as a kid, and had really liked most of it, but I hadn't read any as an adult and was not sure if I still would. Twain is still really funny, especially for me, since I grew up in a rural area where some people still talk like a lot of his characters, and Tom Sawyer's antics are indeed both humorous entertainment and wry social commentary on Twain's Americ
