OK. So, this book sat on my shelf because it's a 'must read'. I kept hearing that it was a must read, but now I'm wondering how far into the book those readers got.
1) Part of this is due to the outdated nature of the book. Paper folders and PDAs? I know it's more about the how and not the what, but we don't live in a PDA/Paper folder world anymore (or at least, I don't). Thinking about how one uses his advice today, was strangely distracting.

I'm not normally a productivity book kind of girl, and I'm definitely not a business book kind of girl, but Getting Things Done was recommended to me for the way the ideas could be applied to managing a household and parenting effectively. And it definitely lived up to those expectations. Inspiring and easily implemented, I started using some of Allen's tricks while still in the process of reading the book.
