This YA graphic novel is a total delight. I've been a big fan of Lumberjanes by Stevenson for a few years now, but I am embarrassed to admit that it never occurred to me to look for other titles by her.
Nimona is a shape shifter who, hires herself to be the trusty sidekick to Ballister Blackheart, despite his protestations, as he fights the Institution and his once-friend Sir Ambrosius Goldenloin. I absolutely loved this book. The artwork was amazing and the character interactions were so cute. I loved the interplay between the two main characters. That ending made me want more though!
