Oh my—I love this book so much. Ignore the cheesy cover. If you love beautiful writing, pirate adventure and food, this is the book for you. A fun book recommended to me by my sister. So out of my usual reading norm - it was a fun and unique story about pirate and a cook! This sounded super fun, but for a pirate story there was a significant lack of adventure. Sure you had glimpses of intrigue and the pirate with the heart of gold, but you had to get through a whole lot of monotonous drivel in between.

Really enjoyable story of a female pirate, a kidnapped chef, adventure and mayhem on the high seas, and delicious food.
