This was one of those books that I think I'm glad I read because of the glimpse into another world that it provided; however, I never connected with any of the characters and completely disagreed with their overall mission, so I can't say that I enjoyed the book.

I REALLY liked this novel...it painted a fascinating picture of what life in central Africa must be like. My only issue was that the end of the novel wasn't as captivating as the first 2/3 of the book.
