She is a pill and all of her attempts at happiness are rooted in her privilege and financial freedom.
Overall I thought it was a pretty good book with some interesting things to think about.
I enjoyed this book. Sure, Gretchen Rubin seems to have a great life, but who couldn't stand to be happier? I appreciated her honesty about her tendencies to do things such as nag her husband and be overbearing toward her friends.
I make resolutions twice a year (once at the New Year and once at my birthday in June), and I like the idea of making happiness resolutions. This is definitely something I'll consider as my next birthday approaches. ...more
