I wish I'd liked this book more than I did. I'm not entirely sure why, but this was a laborious read for me. Somewhere around page 500 I realized that it wasn't going to become a better read for me, but after putting in so much time I was compelled to finish. I'm not sure what I lacked to connect with in this book. It was well written and had all of the elements that usually grab me.
