This took me forever. Not a lot of plot. It was slow paced but beautifully written.
Wavering between a three and four. Took me a bit to get into but once I did I couldn't put the book down. Beautiful writing with a beautiful message.

A story of 3 characters that live fairly close to each other. Themes of ageism, gender, family, and nature are intertwined and raise ethical questions.
I loved listening to this, with Barbara Kingsolver actually reading it. :)
