I think I need a break from YA. It's not that I didn't like the story, appreciate the feel good, everybody feels validated and needs a hug feeling. My fear that I was reading another story about a bunch of whiney teenagers again gave me a few cringes early on. Two teenage Will Graysons live in and around Chicago and end up randomly meeting in a porn shop downtown after a series of comedic misunderstandings. There are romances (both gay and straight), difficulties with friendships, struggles with school and fitting in, some pretty cool parents and one gigantic fabulous musical. This book was funny and I liked the multiple narrators (both Wills), but lacked any connection at the end. Strong language.

Quirky, charming, with some good, heart-felt connections between otherwise disengaged modern teens.

What is neat about this book is that the authors each wrote their chapter with no idea what the other one was writing about their will Grayson. Well done at bringing these two wills together.
