[Review from 2004.] Just gorgeous: beautiful and tragic and complex and thoughtful and elegant. One of those books that's so rich I'm sure I'd find a hundred new things to marvel over no matter how many times I read it. Youth and money and Europe and sex and insanity and all these diverse, captivating characters. Love.
