Imagine you're a kid on your first truly big gig in a feature film. Imagine that that film, over the course of the next several years and into the following generation, becomes a beloved classic. Cary Elwes doesn't have to imagine. Even though I have heard most of the stories from this book over the years, it was very enjoyable to listen to them again. I also enjoyed that many of the cast read/ told their own parts of this story themselves. A great trip down memory lane for any fan of The Princess Bride.

This is a magical, feel-good book that you absolutely must read. My heart melted at the camaraderie and friendship the cast and crew of The Princess Bride developed with each other. My favorite parts were the scenes with Cary spending time with Andre the Giant... I laughed and laughed at Cary's remembrance of the time when Andre let one rip ;)

I listened to this--it was so cute! If you are any fan of Princess Bride, definitely listen to this (I can't imagine it would be even close to as good without audio). Such a heartwarming recount of a great movie--the cast and crew all loved each other so much. Definitely a great book! ...more
