I picked this up in the used book shop the other day, with really no idea what I would be getting into. I've never seen the film and am still unsure as to why the cover of the book has 4 blondes on it, when I only encountered 2 in the novel.

This book took me a long time and multiple tries to get into, but once I did it was quite enjoyable. I enjoyed seeing the different changes Astrid went through and the different ways that she went to try to escape her mother. A good book.
