NOTE: I listened to this book on audio.

I found this book both strange and helpful, and at times, maddening. Do I think you can improve your life by becoming more organized and less cluttered? Yes. Do I think we keep items we no longer use or need or even have room for because we are holding onto the past or fear the future? Yes, sometimes. Do I want my closets and drawers to be neat and organized? Yes. So as far as all that goes, I think this book made a lot of sense. Where it went off the rails

Charming little book will give you the tools to tidy your home. I read it in once in one day (nearly one sitting...it's really not very long), and will read it again as I try to become organized once and for all. There are definitely some useful tips in here that helped me think about the way my house is organized. She has good insight for the reasons we hold onto things that are no longer useful to us so I think I'll modify my approach to decluttering.

On the other hand, it's very repetitive and some of her techniques don't seem to be relevant to my life. I'm not a skimmer, but the last 20 pages or so of this book were definitely skimmed over/flipped through.

Not finished but giving up. While there are a few good points, the rest is just too silly. It gave me some good laughs, though!
