Even better on audiobook read by Neil Gaiman as reading it in print. Wonderful! (Not quite kid appropriate, though)
I put this down for a long time but I don’t think that influences my review... I liked it but didn’t love it. A simple fairy tale-type story with a quest and some romance and a lot of changing into animals, but nothing that really wowed me and made me want to know what happened next.
Overall good, but I felt that the ending was flat. (view spoiler)
