I think we've all been there: you pretty much know you're not going to like the book, but you read it anyway, because all your friends love it, and every once in a while you're surprised and LOVE the book, and that small chance at love keeps you coming back again and again. But usually your intuition was correct and you hate the book. I hated this book. I never should have read it. It's not that it's a BAD book, it's just that this is not the book for me.

Absolutely loved it.
I laughed and cried and loved OVE on each single page of this books.
He has a big heart, yes he has a big heart. He seems arrogant and selfish but he is made of pure gold. He gets angry easily because people can't be reasoned with and then he engages with them despite his dislike of them.

This is a warm mushy tale of a curmudgeonly old fellow who takes life a little too seriously and just doesn't appreciate all the games people play. After his wife dies, he completely fails to understand why he needs to live and tries with all his might to join her but for the nosy Parker neighbours who don't even let him die in peace; let alone live on peace.
