On the whole, an excellent story. I see others have complained before me that the book was "boring". I prefer the word "tedious", as the events and progress were interesting, but the presentation of characters' thinking got too redundant at times.

This was a really good book! I thoroughly enjoyed it. Even more than "To Say Nothing of the Dog"! I like the time travel and the way the two stories paralleled each other throughout the novel. Very well done.

I liked this book where historians time travel to for science, but I would have liked it so much better if it was about 200 pages shorter. While it was good, it wasn't quite good enough to keep me interested for that long.
