I LOVED this! Very enjoyable with lots of random fun info and fun relatable 80s knowledge. So happy I read it.
I knew what I was getting into, to an extent, when I started Ready Player One because my husband had already raved about it. The story, which focuses on one teenager trying to win an online quest to reverse his fortunes with money, life, and love was completely engaging for me, right from the beginning. Whoa, I can add more than one edition. I've finally figured out how to do this, without help or anything. Yay me! This is here because I want credit for reading this book again (for the fourth time) and my whole reading goal is always messed up because I do silly things like read the same book four times.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The infodumps were a bit unpolished but the fantastic world building and realistic, three-dimensional characters totally made up for that. Of course, I love all the nerd references but the book is so much more than just nostalgia porn. It's a great story in its own right— I listened to the audiobook and I couldn't wait to hear what would happen next. Enjoyed it from start to finish!
