What Members Thought
Excellent full cast version, with the amazing Derek Jacobi as the narrator. I always prefer complete versions, although this one seems to have added a little bit of dialog that isn't in the original, which is weird. My favorites are probably Jim Dale and Tim Curry, although Neil Gaiman and Patrick Stewart are amazing. Next year I'll try LaVar Burton maybe

It's clear why Dickens is the "man who invented Christmas" - this story is a perfect description of what the Christmas spirit is all about!
This was my first experience with Whispersync - I was able to listen to it on Audible and my Kindle picked up right where I left off on audio. I really enjoyed Tim Curry's audio performance, and I was disappointed that it wasn't long enough for me to play around with the Audible/Kindle transitions more. ...more

I've seen many adaptations of this story in the movies but realized that I had never read the book. It was a wonderful read. So glad that I finally found the time to do so.
