Quiet has been on my radar for several years and I finally listened to the audiobook. I found myself within these pages, for sure! I think many readers would identify with the traits often assigned to introverts, reading in a quiet space is something an introvert enjoys, after all! Most importantly, I think it's worth mentioning, that not all people are total introverts or extroverts, but exhibit some of the traits identified for each. Quiet is powerful! ...more

The book is pretty "meh" I got about 3 cds into the audiobook, but I wasn't really interested in the subject. Other than discussing some big-name celebrities that are introverts, there wasn't really much to the book that I could relate to, or apply to my own life. The Ted Talk was good, but reading the whole book was worth it - Cain really did her research and put everything together in a readable way. I recommend this one for everyone: if you are an introvert, this book will help you capitalize on your strengths; if you are an extrovert it will help you understand people you love.
