A bittersweet and ethereal story. Finch and Violet will stay with you for a long, long time. I recommend the Netflix movie by the same name as well.

When I purchased this book, I knew that it was going to be a sad book. I knew it dealt with tough topics relating to loss and suicide but I had no idea how the story would transpire, or what led Violet and Theodore to the ledge in the bell tower where they met.
I had no idea that this book was going to so totally and thoroughly destroy me. I listened to the audio version of this book, which was probably a good thing because I spent the last 50 or so pages hysterically ugly crying.

I don't know...this one was too angsty for me. I just think sometimes YA writers write what they think a young adult would do or feel, but it just doesn't come off realistic. This one is one of those books.
