When I purchased this book, I knew that it was going to be a sad book. I knew it dealt with tough topics relating to loss and suicide but I had no idea how the story would transpire, or what led Violet and Theodore to the ledge in the bell tower where they met.

I can't find a reason to knock this one down. It's lovely, remarkable and heart-breaking. I never knew a boy like Finch but I might have, if I had been a different kind of teenaged girl.
