Even though I'm not the demographic target for this book, I wanted to love it. All it did was ratchet up my own anxiety levels as she not-so-subtly disguised her righteous impatience with the world and tried to make everything FUNNY. Just can't finish this one.

This might be the funniest book I’ve ever read. I laughed out loud so much. It’s also raw and honest and hopeful. I loved it so much.

This could be either "a book by someone you admire" or "a book by a person with a disability." I wish there was a category for "book with a glittery taxidermied raccoon with jazz hands on the cover" but I guess that is, unfortunately, a pretty narrow category. I love Jenny Lawson for many reasons but if I have to pick 2 they would be 1) she is hilariously random and 2) through sharing her story of living with mental illness she has helped people who have thought that ending their own lives was t
