What Members Thought
This one is hard for me to rate. I don't know that I really enjoyed it, but I did appreciate the writing. The book starts with a boy (Eddie) driving a getaway car after his hands have been chopped off, and continues to be fairly shocking. The exploitation of drug addicts of color by the farm Delicious Foods is disturbing. The most brilliant chapters are those told by Scotty, aka crack cocaine, who narrates the chapters that focus on Eddie's mother Darlene's point of view. I highly recommend the
