What Members Thought
Although someone humorously but fairly characterized this book as "Da's drunk, we're starving" repeated over and over again, McCourt's writing and his ability to look back with a mature mind on his rather dreadful childhood make this memoir much more than its sad events would suggest. Highly recommended.
