First, science fiction is not one of my usual genres, just not my thing. Second, I don’t usually listen to audiobooks as my mind tends to wander too much and I miss half of the book. I recently learned some things about Ray Bradbury that have made me say "really?" in a sad, sad way. Darnitall if he didn't write a compelling story, though. Separating the art from the artist, especially when that artist's seminal work is Fahrenheit 451, and his wrongheaded whinging is about what he identifies in especially cranky interviews as "political correctness," is especially difficult here.
