*Edit*: Rereading this was an entirely different experience and much much more depressing.
I will argue with you for hours to defend reader's rights to love or hate any book that they want. In Reader's Advisory we stay away from describing "good" books or "well written" books. At the end of this book on cd, Gaiman, who read the book, says as he gets to the acknowledgments, that the listener can stop listening because this is not really a part of the book. It was my favorite part. I immediately ejected that cd. This book was NOT for me. I see a lot of people liked it. I'm glad it is over. To each his own!
