One would think I'd be tired of the Tudors by now. I took a three-quarter course on Tudor and Stuart history some years ago; I've seen most of the Masterpiece and other film versions of the tales of Henry VIII and Elizabeth I and Mary Queen of Scots; Ann Boleyn crops up quite often. I skipped the television series The Tudors for that very reason. But Wolf Hall comes at the whole story from a different angle, that of Thomas Cromwell.
