Another dystopian YA novel in a similar vein as The Hunger Games or The Selection yet wholly different. A very well written and enjoyable series.
I was very curious about this time period and relationship, since it was hinted at forever throughout the first novel. I feel like this novella was far too short for what it tried to cover. The courtship is entirely too short, and the way people felt about her far too brief all together.

What a great addition
When reading Red Queen I always wondered about Cal's mother and her story. This novella helped improve a story I was already intrigued and in love with. I wish Victoria Aveyard would write faster. :) ...more
