I started listening to this on audiobook, which was really well done and even featured Malala herself in a few sections. It really hit home how much of a regular girl she is - loves pizza and cupcakes; fights with her brothers; and enjoys watching TV and movies. She was so young when she began advocating for education and peace, and it's crazy how much of a heroic and courageous spirit she is to tirelessly work for the good of all.

Con el pretexto de buscar autobiografías me decidí por esta y no me arrepentí: es un texto emotivo y directo, que nos acerca a la situación de las mujeres del otro lado del mundo. Es muy triste darse cuenta de que en este siglo todavía haya situaciones de odio por el simple hecho de querer estudiar.
Inspirational story. Thankful that my girls have an education as a right.
