This book left me with mixed feelings.
While I was intrigued and inspired by the bravery of Malala and her family, the narrative itself is rather disjointed. I would have been more affected by Malala's story if the focus had been more on her personal story and less on the historical and political details about Pakistan.
I hope Malala continues to fight for education. Extremists like the cowards who shot her thrive on ignorance and hate.

Long overdue read. I've meant to experience this one for years and finally grabbed the audiobook from the library. What a courageous, smart and strong young woman, what a thought-provoking story.
