I really liked this book. I found Katniss to be an easy person to cheer for and loved the way the story was told in her voice. I can't wait to read the next in the series.

I wanted to read the prequels and since it was so long I decided to reread. I got the audio book and liked the narrator. On reread it wasn't as good to me as the first time, I think I noticed just how dark everything was and unfair. But it's still a good book. ...more

Not well written (lots of cliches and ellipses), but exciting. I think it was written with a movie in mind, but it'll be a very exciting movie.
