Outliers was a really interesting look at the way people succeed and basically theorizes that that there really is a lot of luck and timing vs just hard work for those who seem to be considered a “man-made success”.

This book is really a magazine article stretched to book length. The premise, while important, is not particularly novel: to be successful, one must be both smart, talented, and hardworking and also lucky enough to have the right opportunities at the right time.
