This book has come up in idle conversation with my sorta boyfriend about a half dozen times the last few months. I happened upon the book a few days ago and decided to read it. I don’t think I’ve actually read it before now but I’ve seen the animated version too many times to count.

This was a book one of my students read with his 5th grade class. I loved it.
This book is pretty enjoyable and has some eye opener moments. Intelligent rats trying to build their own civilization sounds like Animal Farm with children twist for me, but it's still good especially for the kids.

Isabelle and I read this for book club. I have great memories of this book because my mom read it to me when I was little. I still love the story and Isabelle loved it to.
