This book has come up in idle conversation with my sorta boyfriend about a half dozen times the last few months. I happened upon the book a few days ago and decided to read it. I don’t think I’ve actually read it before now but I’ve seen the animated version too many times to count.

This book is pretty enjoyable and has some eye opener moments. Intelligent rats trying to build their own civilization sounds like Animal Farm with children twist for me, but it's still good especially for the kids.
