i liked this book - the characters were interesting and the writing was decent. The story seemed to be secondary - well, i guess the story is these two characters and one of them is having a sexual awakening. The sex scenes got a little repetitive. At certain points i was thinkin, "enough alredy...more sex?" this book started as fan fiction for the Twilight series but i liked this book so much more than Twilight. oh my! if ana bites her lip one more time, I'll knock'em out of her head. Problem solved. You'd think a book that describes their encounters in such detail would at least redeem itself, but no Anastasia & Cristian manage to even make that redundant and just ugghhh... Read it if only to satisfy your morbid curiosity about the common denominator's reading ability & interest

I will say that I did not finish this book. My friends wouldn't stop harassing me about reading it and I finally caved because one of them gave me her copy. I was so bored by the storyline and kept expecting it to get better. Blah. The sex parts. Boring. The writing. Terrible. I will usually finish a book just in case it gets better, but I just couldn't do it.

OK, I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. However, when someone is begging not to be hit it's abuse, and I had to stop reading. Besides being really, really badly written, and having no plot, it's about someone being hurt. It made me very sad.

I don't even know what to say about this book, certainly nothing that hasn't been said before. The writing left a lot to be desired, and at times I was rolling my eyes as much as the characters, but the woman does knows how to write a sex scene.

Apologies to all my lovely friends that love these books, but I just can't. The "heroine" is darn near intolerable, the "hero" is completely inconsistent, and the writing is terrible. I promise to try to just listen when we meet for book club, though!

Great trilogy...like Twilight for adults (minus the vampires). Couldn't put them down and have since recommended them to a bunch of friends, all who have enjoyed as much as I did.
