I read and reread this book so often as a child. I LOVED it and wanted to be like the two kids. I would like to reread it now, and see what I think of it.
I was obsessed with the movie as a kid (the oldest ones). The book has the same pull for me.
I do wish we could have seen more of their abilities and just a tad bit more about them. But there's a second book that will likely handle all of that. ...more

I loved these movies as a child and find the book to be just as good, if not better than the movie. If only our library system owned the sequel...
