the first short story, "holidays on ice" is PHENOMENAL! a few of the other stories are also good, but the rest are only average.

still, this was one of his very first books, and i am a big fan of his later efforts. so i can say that i did enjoy this read. ...more

To be honest, the only stories in this collection I found even mildly amusing were "Santaland Diaries" and "Let it Snow." At least I didn't pay more than a buck for it... ...more
