This was so unrelentingly dark (even compared to her other two) and the ending was not terribly satisfying. As usual, spot on character development. I hated everyone, but at least understood why Libby had a stunted upbringing. With such strong character development, I wasn't a big fan of the random dime store mystery gotcha ending. I couldn't put it down though so that counts for something. This is my least favorite of hers, with Sharp Objects holding strong as my favorite. ...more
