interesting in it's premise - trying to write from an autistic point of view. i don't know if it succeeds - but it is entertaining and clever, and worth the time it takes to read (which is pretty darn fast). ...more

Lots of language in this one...other than that, this is clever, quirky and fresh reading. A poodle has been impaled on a garden fork and the fifteen-year-old autistic narrator of the story is bound and determined to solve the crime. Everything is told from his unusual point-of-view.

This is a quick easy read. It's the account of a muder mystery from the perspective with a child with autism/aspergers. It's interestering to watch the way this child's developmental delay and unique perspective influences the way he sees the world. ...more

I sort of expected this to be like The Memory Keeper’s Daughter in that I know a bunch of people who liked it, but I didn’t myself. I don’t know why. I think this was a really solid book, and the person who did the audio recording was quite good.
