What Members Thought

I enjoy memoirs like this because I like to see how different people are, and how their minds work. What is important to them and what they want the reader to know about their life. Everyone is so different and I am fascinated by this. I love that the author really put herself out there. Her hang-ups, issues, and flaws are all strung out for the world to see. There are a lot of 1 star and 5 star reviews on this book, so I'll just stick right in the middle.
While I did find Elizabeth's journey to be very self-absorbed, I enjoyed getting to know the various characters throughout the book. There's the Italian man named Spaghetti, Richard from Texas and Katut, her medicine man. These characters alone made the book worth reading to me and, while I don't quite understand all the hype about it (or maybe in a way I do), a more worthwhile read would be The Biz ...more
