Sadly, this one is demoted to a 3. While the characters are amazingly multifaceted and very individualistic, any book that I spend the middle half, maybe third of chanting "It's by Jk Rowling, It's by JK Rowling, It's by JK Rowling" to keep myself going and invested and reading has some problems.

That aside it's an interesting enough Fiction books, and I'm still baffled by how THAT CHAPTER (you know which one I'm talking about if you've read it) is suddenly SuperFast, and SuperJamPackedWithAction ...more

Sooo...Surprisingly I really like this book! I wonder why people were so mean with their stars for this book? :D Well of course it is different than Harry Potter, it's an adult fiction. But you can still trace the magic of JK Rowling's silver tongue- she can describe the characters and their conflicts really well. It actually felt like the adult version of Harry Potter's political plots. What she can't describe in Harry Potter books, she did it splendidly here. All characters have their flaws, t ...more

I really enjoyed this book. It is full of rich characters and I love hearing what they are thinking throughout the story.
