Meh.
I liked the premise. A lot. But it was one of those books that left me wondering how awesome it would have been in the hands of a better storyteller, or if Marisha Pessl had been better edited. There was a LOT of exposition, and the language was so clunky it kept tearing me out of the story. I know what she was trying to do, but I feel like if I'm reading a book and the author lets me see what's behind the curtain too often, it's not worth my time. ...more
