What Members Thought
I've finally finished reading "The Thorn Birds!"
But at times it felt like a chore to get through it.
And I'm not sure I get the love story.
Father Ralph loved money and God more than Meggie. While I understand the latter, I don't get the money part. He basically sold her and her whole family. And for some strange reason it was OKAY! Like how? Why? He never outgrew his selfishness or hypocrisy which bothered me.
